A Mini Adventure Hike With Big Epic Views

This is a hidden gem spot - tucked away in the forest on the side of a mountain with gorgeous views of the Continental Divide, rolling forested hills and a rock ledge that seems like it was made by mother nature herself for ceremony.
It’s a cool little mini adventure to get there too. A 20-minute hike through Ponderosa Pine forest to the rock ledge, then a bit more down the trail to the ceremony spot. So you truly hike to your ceremony for this one - it’s a mellow hike, but it’s off the beaten path, so it really feels like your very own trail.
There are so many beautiful spots to have your ceremony and take photos, plus there’s also the breathtaking expansive view from just above the rock ledges, like here in the photo below.

All The Deets
Availability: June through mid-October.
Group Size: Just the two of you.
The Drive: A beautiful 25-minute drive from downtown Boulder on a well-paved road that climbs up the mountain to the meet spot.
The Walk: It’s a 20-minute hike on a full-on dirt trail with rocks and uneven ground, plus a rock scramble to get down to the ceremony spot. Hiking shoes or sneakers required, then you can switch to fancy wedding shoes at the site.
Permit: Commercial permit required and included in your package.
